The Countdown to Kindergarten calendar is filled with a year’s worth of activities geared to four and five year old children who will soon be entering kindergarten. The 2015-2016 runs September 2015-August 2016 and each month focuses on a different learning topic with suggested daily activities that adults and children can do together.
Each calendar includes a Kindergarten Readiness Checklist that will help prepare the child for school by tracking the child’s physical, social, emotional and cognitive development. These calendars are handed out through area Parents as Teacher’s Programs, Head Start and Preschool’s in Southwest Missouri and Southeast Kansas.
